A 48-day elephant rejuvenation camp began at Thekkampatti, near Mettupalyam in coimbatore, on sunday (Dec 15, 2019).

The 12th annual rejuvenation camp,organised by the Hindu Religious and charitable Endowments (HR & CE) department, will house 28 temple and mutt elephants from across the state.

The camp will conclude on January-31, 2020. Foresters, forest guards and anti-poaching watchers routinely inspect the camp everyday in mornings and evenings.
