In this video we'll discuss the most common FIELD SETTINGS that need to be set on every indoor unit, based on each application and user's preferences.

Notes:
• Strip Heat settings not included, I'll make a dedicated video for this soon.
• Settings and discussion based on a NAV Controller connected to VRV Indoor units, mini-splits were not really included in this video. Mini-splits have much fewer settings available for change, you can select the sensor to be used for room temperature control, and adjust thermo off fan speeds, but that's mostly it.
• I'll be making another part to this video which covers the other items in the Service Settings Menu not discussed in this video. From a technician perspective, once the Field Settings are set you're good to go, but there are other neat settings in the Service Settings Menu that are sometimes advantageous to set so I want to talk about those too. We'll cover those in a future video.
