Welcome to University of Hyderabad

The University of Hyderabad established in 1974 has completed four decades and is regarded as one of the top Universities in India in the area of higher education, achieving honors and attaining standards that set a benchmark for other universities in India.

The University has a scenic 2000 plus acres of land rich in bio-diversity and more than 75 species of fauna find their home on the campus.

The NIRF - National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has ranked the University seventh best in the Country for the year 2017. The year 2016/17 saw the University being ranked among the top institutions in the Country by various ranking agencies both in India and Abroad.

Though these are encouraging indicators, our goal is to compete with Global Institutions and prepare our students to be academically brilliant and responsible citizens.
