Bromley Mondays 19th Aug 8 v 8

3 Fresh players on the pitch this week, welcome Mark, Simon and Jen, and they mixed things right up, ultimately Mark was a better fit in the white team to net them a hat-trick and couple of assists. Jen was excellent on commanding the pitch as well as awareness and distribution, And Simon played well but couldn't link up much with the Black team. Final score Whites 7 - 3 Blacks.

MOTM David on the White team, for his Hat-trick, ( 2Pin point shots from left and striking the inside side of the net as well as an individual fake and round the keeper smooth move!) Blacks MOTM is Andy for his assist to Kai and his Goal from a throw in!

00:26:40 Whites Goal! Ray 4 - 1 Great tackling by Jen to dispossess Ant in Midfield and heard the ball call from Ray, Jen threads a correctly weighted ball to Ray who took it in His stride for a hard shot through keepers legs.
00:32:10 Blacks Goal! Kai 4 - 2 Kai picked up ball from a Tom pass and drove forward to spot Andy, Andy dragged the player toward him and spotted the 1-2 back to Kai. Kai in free space composed himself for a finessed shot into the bottom corner, no chance keeper!
00:36:20 Whites Goal! Dave x 5 - 2 Kev does a long throw and bounces over Tom in defence, Andy just behind adjust quickly and turn shoots the ball beating keeper and on target!
00:37:55 Blacks Goal! Andy 5 - 3 Long throw by Andy towards goal and Kit keeper jumped to catch, but was dazzled by the light and ball directed into goal! Lol!

White Team:
Kit - Had a quite game really given Blacks not having much chance to penetrate the Whites defence. But also slip up on the own goal from a catch 5/10
Dave - Driving with the ball caused danger often and was ice cool today with his shots in the side netting and the casual rounding of the keeper for the his hat-trick 8/10 MOTM
Kevin - Good control of ball and the drive as well for an assist, but was casual in a few places, in front of goal and some long ball controls could have been better, and felt despondent/(bored) egging on opposition team to out run Ray! 6/10
Jen - Great command of the team in pointing out where team was going wrong and paid dividend in team paying attention/motivation. bossed the midfield for some great assists! 7.5/10
Ray - Had a solid duelling win ratio in defence to keep a low opponent score line, also saw the right runs to position well for his goal as well as keeping the ball up field for further goal chances! 7.5/10
Jeff - Solid command of defence sitting deep to sweep from Ray or Wills miss tackles to great affect - let down by slip in dangerous area 6/10
Mark - Always looked dangerous with the ball, but was slightly off with his shot accuracy earlier on, but improved much in latter half to gain his Hat-trick 8/10 and got pipped by Dave for MOTM
Will - Comfortable in right back position making some great tackles, but lacked much clear forward passes or drives this week 6/10

Black Team:
Samson - great save at the start, but didn't command the defence as usual this week, and was missing shots or lack of power in his shot which didn't present much danger this week.5.5/10
Tom - Drove the ball in midfield a few times but didn't have a ending, lost the ball easily in defence for Dave who rounded the keeper. Didn't seem to be effective as usual in defence 5/10
Simon - Started well, and great recovery defending and dispossessing of opponents in midfield, but just couldn't gel with the team to create opportunities much or receive much support 6/10
Ken - Not sure where Ken was roaming today, but was ineffective upfront and couldn't stop much of the runs by opposition 4/10
Steven - Also out of position in right wing often looked ineffective there, but some good tackles made in dangerous area's but also failed to distribute it 4/10
Andy - Great runs and work rate, making key tackles as well as driving forward that gave a few scares, leading to the assists as well as good throw on goal 6.5/10 MOTM
Ant - Quite a horror game for him as mentioned by himself, getting dispossessed in dangerous area's for a goal, keeping the ball on the touch line and losing it for an opponents goal, but did win tackles and save goals 4.5/10, didn't hear you command the defence as you usually do
Kai - Lack of sleep, lost him concentration to get any fast balls, gloating on the pitch that he tackled Ray, and resulted in a goal by opposition - but what an awesome curly into the bottom corner, almost keeping his form from the 1st match! 6/10
