In a nutshell:

1. You burn more calories
Regular walking helps you burn off extra calories.
It can even reduce visceral fat, or more commonly known as belly or abdominal fat.
That’s because regular walking improves the body’s response to insulin, which helps in reducing belly fat.

Research has revealed that going for a 20-minute walk for just 3 days a week for 6 straight weeks can already lead to a 20% increase in energy levels.
