I'm pretty sure it's about 2.5 miles or a little more, when riding the inside and outer loop.
Either way... The EKG Loop is 100% adrenaline... every single foot. It's like being on a two and an half mile roller coaster. Many Steep Short inclines and some drops that are almost vertical. It's also full of whoop de doo's and wooden bridges.
Got my first decent wreck since I started shooting GoPro footage on rides. Had a bit to much whoop-tie in one of my do's and got pitched off the bike, over the bars off the side of the trail into a mess of those thorny vines at 3:25... Unfortunately, it was during a session using the seat post mount, so you just see the bike pitch me off. Cut up and bruised both forearms and calves pretty good sliding through all those pesky vines, damn they smart. My CamelBak Mule, and thick cordura baggies saved most of my back side from this annoying torture.
Also, I shot a few pictures of the old abandoned Trammel Davis Dr. Bridge over the Trinity River I posted at the end.
