He claimed the family would not receive pension or compensation and that Agniveers are not considered Jawans. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh countered these allegations, urging the opposition not to mislead the house, emphasizing that extensive consultations were held with 158 organizations before implementing the Agniveer scheme. Singh requested Gandhi's eviction from the proceedings for misinformation. In an exclusive interview, the media spoke to the family of Agniveer Akshay, who died in action, and they confirmed receiving ₹1 crore in compensation so far.
