Armenian EyeCare Project x World Diabetes Foundation: transforming diabetes eye care in Armenia

WDF has been named the Corporate Honoree of the Year by The Armenian EyeCare Project (AECP)! 🎉

The collaboration between AECP and WDF has catalysed significant improvements in diabetes care and eye health in Armenia. Through three projects we funded since 2016, we have seen impressive results, including over 60,000 people screened, thousands receiving treatment, and healthcare professionals and patients trained in diabetes management.

Although we couldn’t attend the AECP Annual Gala in the United States, Kirza Kristensen accepted the award on behalf of WDF from AECP’s Country Director Nune Yeghiazaryan while in Armenia.

We are honoured and humbled to receive this recognition from AECP. We look forward to continuing our partnership and improving access to care in Armenia. 💙
