NRIs to launch campaign for NRI Protection Bill

NRI community will knock on doors of embassies and consulates across the world seeking protection of their wealth and investments in India. About 125 billion US dollars enters India by way of savings, remittances and investments. Their complaint is that one in three NRIs has had a painful experience at the hands of scamsters and cheats as regards their savings and investments and add to it the apathy of the police and revenue officials and the delay of the courts. They are urging the government to ensure their savings, investments and wealth are suitably protected.
