Potato planting method is shown in this video in which typical planting machines called planters are not used. This method of planting is being used in central parts of Indian Punjab for the last 4-5 decades. In this method fertilizer applicator - cum- marking machines and a ridge making equipment are used for potato planting. Seed tubers are dropped manually. This is an example of perfect synergy of man and machine in agricultural work.
