Yuba Spicy Curry Review Short

While attending the (e)revolution electric bike show in Denver Colorado, I got to connect with Yuba to learn more about their Spicy Curry electric bike. It's a longtail electric cargo bike with the Bosch Cargo Line mid-drive motor (Gen 2) that offers up to 85nm of torque. The model I saw had a Bosch Kiox display panel. The Spicy Curry is their flagship model and has been around since 2015, undergoing a number of upgrades and refinements. Tim explained that they chose the Bosch motor due to reliability. The bike has a cargo capacity of 440lbs, which is way above average. The brakes are Magura 180mm hydraulic with quad piston caliper up front for stronger smoother modulation. The bike comes with one 500 watt hour battery pack (Bosch PowerPack 500) and there's space for a second battery as well! Both are positioned low and center on the frame for improved balance and handling.
