Sincerely shocking

I am usually jumping onto a moving train when it comes to comics. I have no idea why or how Peter Parker got himself into this mess

Proper weight of dialogue and artful expressions allows the audience to feel the terrorizing circumstances of an event that had many paths leading up to it even if you personally hadn’t walked any of them.

I wonder how longtime fans of Spidey felt about this comic. They were probably scared throughout it, how was Pete gonna pull this one off.

When did they realize he wasn’t going to?

The disbelief i have is still noticeable, are there some longtime Spiderman fans still not over this story?

Although the ending relies on a very abstract thought, I enjoyed it and was left wondering, how could you really trust Otto to be a good man?

Dying Wish does it’s best to make it seem like the Bad Guy didn’t really win but I can’t help question whether whose memories and emotions will be stronger going forward, Otto's or Peters

I was consistently shocked by Otto's parishing face . My eyes would widen, maybe it’s cause I appreciate how much a Comic is willing to speak through visuals or maybe it really is the perfect tone of Deformity but either way, anytime a fearful monologue was paired with those visuals of beaten body, the book really hit home with me.

It is one of those, i can't recommend this enough but i’m not going to tell you anything about it.

You gain so much respect for the piece of art that by the time you are done with it, you want others not just to experience it but experience it in the way you were able to. I think everyone probably has a small list of these “suggestions”. The Last of Us stands out in my mind. I can’t help it.I had no intention on carrying that game with me forever but i played it like 5 years ago and I remember the ending like it was yesterday. there is no way for another person to understand your enthusiasm for art unless they experience it for themselves.


I am having this feeling more and more with comic books & I couldn’t be more grateful for stumbling upon this hobby. It goes to show you that even if you’re up to date and always waiting on the next issue, there are people every day reading your favourite comics for the first time.
Everyday, more and more people are starting their journey into comics. Down the path graciously carved for us, we are discovering the reasons for this adventure & the joy of experiencing it for ourselves, without spoil.

If you’re on this path with me, I hope you’re not mad that i’m showing up late, i’m just happy to have found it at all
