In this video, we will tell you that having a high potassium diet is harmful to your health. You need to maintain the potassium level in your diet to save your kidneys from any diseases. We will discuss the food items which are low and high in potassium. You have to reduce the amount of those vegetables that are high in potassium and eat those food items that are low in potassium.
Let's discuss the food items which are high in potassium. So, let's start the topic:-
Palak (spinach) - Spinach is loaded with potassium and rich in iron, fiber, iron, manganese, zinc, and magnesium. It is very beneficial for your health, but excess intake may harm your kidneys as it is high in potassium.
Sweet potato - It is full of potassium. That's why do not eat too much sweet potato in your diet.
Banana - Bananas are a good source of potassium. So, it can cause a potassium level high in your body. Do not take excess bananas in your diet.
Watermelon - It is high in potassium. Have this fruit in a limited amount.
Potato - excess intake of potatoes in your diet can increase potassium amount in your body. Please take this in a very limited amount.
Beans - They are very high in potassium amount. It may increase potassium levels in your body.
Masoor dal - In pulses, masoor ki dal is very high in potassium which increases the potassium amount in your body. Too dangerous for your kidney health.
Other than these things, peas, tomatoes, seafood, and dairy products also contain a high amount of potassium. Maintain distance from these foods to keep your kidneys healthy.
Let's talk about those food items that are low in potassium:-
In vegetables, you can eat loki, tori, kaddu, tinda, or raw papaya. These are healthy food for you.
In fruits, you can eat an apple, guava, and papaya. They will make your kidneys healthy.
Other than these, you can have wheat flour, washed moong dal, and arhar dal in your diet.
