Every foster child has their own unique story. Youth Advocate Josh Shipp shares how his life drastically changed because of one caring adult's commitment to not give up on him, preventing him from becoming "an inevitable statistic in the foster care system." Kids in #fostercare are almost four times more likely to attempt suicide. Close to 90 percent of kids that have been in 5 or more foster homes will encounter the juvenile justice system before they turn 18. Roughly 30 percent of foster kids end up homeless.

We inspire and equip local churches with tools, resources, and support that enables them to develop a sustainable, effective foster care ministry. Together, we are working toward the day when the list of children waiting for a home will be replaced with a list of families waiting to share their homes.
