'Air' is the first new Mustlord track in over two years, created for the 'Antihistamine 2025' compilation: https://histaminetapes.bandcamp.com/a... The chords follow a 9-bar cycle, and were designed to be played using a hair dryer by fretting the note and allowing the air to vibrate the strings. However, the motor got picked up by the guitar pickups, so I isolated that sound and layered it beneath, using pitch shift to harmonise it with the music. 'Iridescent' was recovered and remastered from an unreleased demo, created around the time of 'Sleep Assist Technology'. It's another pure guitar track, with no time stretching and minimal pitch-shifting, recorded in single takes.
