Blue Tit Chicks Almost Ready to Fledge

A pair of wild blue tits made their nest in a hollow wooden post under a tree, and I've been able to monitor their progress. The chicks are now at the painfully cute stage but are preparing to fledge; I'll be sad to see them leave. The parent blue tits have been wildly successful, having hatched seven eggs and all seven have made it to the fledging stage. You can see them in the video still being fed by the parents, but practicing their wing flapping and scaling the walls of the post. I'll be spending the next few days standing warding off crows and other predator birds, like when people guard the baby turtles returning to the ocean after they hatch.
