Utah Senator Mitt Romney has announced that he will not seek another term in 2024. The 76-year-old former Massachusetts Governor and 2012 Republican nominee for president cited his age as a key factor in his decision. But if he had run, Romney would have almost certainly faced a tough primary challenge after the backlash he faced from within his party for his opposition to Donald Trump.
