Step 1: Go to the top of the Salt Mines where you found Thorn and open the chest in the back

Step 3: Generate 250 orbs of light. Blind well is a great place to start. Grab a masterwork weapon and keep your eye out for the harmony orbs that the Anathema and the Servant of the Plague drop.

Step 4: Complete 3 objectives that return Rose’s perks:
Complete a Nightfall with a score of 50,000 or higher, use your modifier card to give you a modifier score about 2x, you'll manage to get to 50,000 in no time
Complete wave based modes, since you're already in Blind Well... just continue to play until you complete this. You'll be able to do the next step as well!
Get 100 kills without reloading. Use your weapon of choice. Heavy machine guns are usually a good choice!

Step 5: Complete activities with Rose equipped. Grind through various activities with Rose equipped, but you'll also gain more progress if other players in your Fireteam are using it as well.

Step 6: Defeat 50 guardians in crucible with Handcannons; generate Orbs of light anywhere in the solar system -- grab a masterwork weapon and find a place to generate orb; Get a "Not on My Watch" medal in Gambit -- whenever your side gets invaded drop what you're doing and try to shut them down.'

Step 7: Enter the "Will of the Thousands" strike and destroy 11 of the crystals floating around the strike and kill Xol

Step 8: Profit! Enjoy your super cool new weapon!
