A powerful cold front is moving in, bringing with it wet and very cold conditions, strong winds, and rough seas. Strong winds are predicted to cause havoc in the Namakwa of the Northern Cape Province, the northern parts of the West Coast District, and the central and eastern parts of the Western Cape Province. These gusts could lead to transportation disruptions and even falling trees. Snowfall is predicted to cause some disruptions and even the closure of mountain passes.
