This centre of creativity, unique in northern Europe, provides all visitors with an understanding of the different steps involved in producing a fine perfume. These perfumes are carefully crafted and matured deep in the cellars of the Citadel , silent witnesses from the days of Charles the Fifth !

Guy Delforge, presiding with the Maestro's baton over an orchestra of rich fragrances, has prepared for the visitor's pleasure an underground journey of discovery where each phase of this remarkable craft is shown to full advantage : the composition of a subtle symphony of different scents, the maceration process, the miraculous birth of a perfume, olfactory testing, chilling, filtration, the art of presentation ...

Add to this a fascinating exhibition featuring the art of perfume making and many sculptures and paintings.

Visitors are soon under the spell of this 'light, sound and perfume' show and the enchantment is such that the outside world is rapidly forgotten.
