Steps to follow to lock your Fifth Third debit card online:
1. Go to the Fifth Third Bank website www.53.com {The link is in the description} and log in to your account.
2. Click on the Accounts tab.
3. Select the account associated with the debit card you want to lock.
4. Under Services, click on Card Management.
5. Click on Lost or Stolen.
6. Select ‘Temporarily lock my card’ and follow the on-screen prompts.

How do you know if your card is locked?
You will receive a confirmation message from Fifth Third Bank once you lock your card. You can also check the status of your card by logging into your online account or by calling customer service.

Can you still use your card to make purchases online or over the phone?
No, you will not be able to use your card to make any purchases once your card is locked.
