Non surgical Otoplasty

Описание к видео Non surgical Otoplasty

Usually midwifes and pediatricians will calm you down by telling: "The malformed ears will be corrected on its own term"
Actually that is not true!
One of the most common malformations in newborns ears are the underdeveloped antihelix and the protruding lobule.
The key to remodel such a malformation is to start as early as possible. (right after birth) There is an individual limitation how long the ear cartilage will respond. In general the result after 3-4 weeks is permanent. In rare cases there will be an improvement only but that makes a surgical correction easier.
If the auricles look nice at birth but start protruding with the age of three months taping is not recommended.

I wish you good luck!
