On November 13, 2009, 21-year-old mother Christina Whittaker vanished after a night out in Hannibal, Missouri. What began as a rare evening away from her newborn baby became one of Missouri’s most confusing and controversial missing persons cases.

Witnesses say Christina had too much to drink, possibly mixing alcohol with bipolar medication, and was kicked out of multiple bars. The last confirmed sighting shows her tearful, asking strangers for a ride home. Rumors later claimed she was trafficked to Peoria, Illinois—but despite years of reported sightings, no verified evidence has ever placed Christina outside Hannibal that night.

What does exist are two pieces of real evidence:
📍 Christina’s phone and keys, found near the bar
📍 A scene that looked like a hit-and-run, with red paint fragments on a damaged vehicle

According to local whispers, a man allegedly confessed to his girlfriend that Christina was struck by a red pickup truck and her body was hidden. The man allegedly involved, Danny Baker, died in 2017—taking answers with him.

With rumors, corruption, and fear silencing the town, Christina’s mother continues to hold hope that her daughter is alive. But the evidence points back to Hannibal, raising the question: Did a tragic accident become a cover-up?
