Controls Engineering has released the MPT Series stretch film bander. This new product line also comes standard with the CE Reactive Tension Control system that can automatically adjust for varying sizes and shapes of product while still providing finite tension control.

The MPT Series banders can be easily programmed to run in Index Mode, Spiral Mode and Center Mode.

This video demonstrates the Index Mode Feature on 7' lengths of wood moulding. The MPT bander electronically reads the lead edge as the bundle is moved into banding position 1. After the band is applied, the MPT moves the bundle to the second and third banding position and places the band and then ejects the bundle, readying itself for the next bundle.

CE SmartBand securely holds the bundle without causing damage to the product.
