American Booksellers for Free Expression are upset at the recent censoring of graphic novel Gender Queer. The ruling particularly pertains to minors. Gender Queer contains far too much explicit material for young readers to have unrestricted access to. In the end censoring Gender Queer is a win for parents in Virginia. Hopefully other states follow their lead and censor books and graphic novels containing material unsuitable for children. I agree with censoring Gender Queer graphic novel.
