Cheesy Chicken Barfi (Chicken Starter) — Recipe (½ kg Chicken)

🧾 Ingredients

For Chicken Mixtur

500 g boneless chicken (breast pieces)
1 tsp crushed red chilli
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp white pepper powder (optional)
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tbsp tandoori masala (or tikka masala, optional)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
3–4 green chillies (finely chopped)
½ handful fresh mint leaves
1 handful fresh coriander leaves
2 bread slices (soaked in water & squeezed dry)
1 tbsp butter / desi ghee / oil
For Filling
Cheese slices (as needed)
Optional: Green chutney (thin layer)

For Coating
1 egg
3–4 tbsp milk
Pinch of salt
Pinch of crushed red chilli
Bread crumbs (as needed)

For Frying
Oil (for deep frying)

Ingredient for chutney :

Ingredients:
chutney:-

1 fist coriander leaves
2 garlic cloves
2_3 green chilli
½ lemon juice
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp chat masala
¼ tsp cumin seeds

🔥 Air Fryer Chicken Barfi
Preheat air fryer to 180°C
Brush or spray barfi pieces with oil
Place in basket (do not overcrowd)
Air fry 12–15 minutes
Flip halfway + brush oil again
Cook until golden & fully done
👉 Crisp outside, juicy inside — much healthier than deep frying
🥚 Without Egg Coating (Eggless Version)
Use this coating instead:
Option 1 — Cornflour Slurry
3 tbsp cornflour + water (thick paste)
Dip pieces → coat in bread crumbs
Option 2 — Maida Slurry
3 tbsp all-purpose flour + water
Same method as above
Option 3 — Only Crumbs
Lightly brush pieces with oil
Roll directly in bread crumbs (press firmly)
