Zone: Coerthas Central Highlands
Fishing hole: Witchdrop
Bait: Hoverworm (mooch)
Conditions: All day, Clear OR Fair into Blizzards

Shonisaurus is one of six fish used in the Feast and Famine quest, which gives the "... of Dragons Deep" title. It is a straight forward double mooch chain. Start off by using Patience (Patience II is ideal, but I can work if Patience II isn't unlocked), and casting out. Cloud Cutters are the start of the mooch chain and are a short !! bite, use Powerful Hookset to catch. Mooch the Cloud Cutter and only reel in the !!! bite; use Powerful Hookset. This is Mahar, which you should mooch. The next bite will be a !!! bite, Shonisaurus. Once again, use Powerful Hookset to catch. If it gets away, refresh your Patience buff and start the mooch chain again with another Cloud Cutter.

🌱FFXIV Free Trial Fishers:
You'll need to use Patience I the entire time to enable more mooch attempts. Might take some luck to get the HQ chain of fish you need, but it is doable. Hi-cordials help!
