Star Wars Squadrons was originally made as a regular 3D game but later on VR capability was added which comes with the game itself, there is no separate VR copy/version to buy. Everyone who played the regular 3D version then the VR version, all state the VR version is superior. I would have to agree since the visuals look great, the audio is immersive, and the controls are easy if you want them to be, or they can be very complicated/true to life. This game can also be played using a Xbox controller or with VR controllers, which is convenient and I wish more VR games allowed for this too.

There are 2 games modes. Single Player Story Mode, and Multiplayer Mode which you can either do a Dogfight or Fleet Battle. I will be playing the Single Player Story Mode, which a description of the story is as follows, "Set after Return of the Jedi, the campaign alternates between the New Republic's Vanguard Squadron and the Galactic Empire's Titan Squadron, both of which become involved with the Republic's Project Starhawk; Vanguard Squadron wants to ensure its completion, while Titan Squadron attempts to destroy it."
