Sonically I leaned into a dirtier, more saturated 80s aesthetic: grit on the guitars, a raw mid-range on the vocals, and a swelling stomp for the choruses so it feels like the song is both a live rally and a last stand. Lyrically, it’s intentionally theatrical — equal parts propaganda and parody — shouting about orbital strikes, napalm, and an “overdose” of liberty. Beneath the silliness there’s a real emotion: gratitude for the friends who stand with you, and the stubborn, defiant joy of refusing to quit.
