Hey everyone... well after almost two years overseas WE ARE BACK!!! Here is my first video back since our move to Louisiana and first tournament of the American Bass Anglers Trail. I used to fish ABA when I lived in Mississippi before and was glad to see them still up and running. Their first event was Diamondhead Mississippi on the Jourdan River, an old favorite of mine. I started down on the lower end in the marsh with a good old Pop R and never put it down all day. The day worked out great with cloud cover coming in later and even a thunderstorm ( I had to quit recording to take cover and ended up catching a big one while hiding). Good thing I had my AFTCO rain gear because it POURED on me in the middle of the day then went back to 100 degrees. It was a great day brining in almost 10 and half pounds and secured big fish with one over 3.5lbs! Everything was caught on Vicious Fishing Line's No Faid braid paired with a Attax Series rod. Can't wait to get on to the next event and keep the points going....
