Chef's Knife - Hand Forged 52100, My first Integral Bolster

Описание к видео Chef's Knife - Hand Forged 52100, My first Integral Bolster

A more "artistic" take on the process of hand forging and finishing an integral Chef's Knife.

Made from a 52100 1" round stock, turned out with approximately 8" of cutting edge. The handle design was made to be very comfortable and help you use this knife on the pinch grip position.

I used Muiracatiara wood for the handle (Brazilian hard wood), homemade micarta for the spacer, twisted damascus steel for the pin and airplane aluminum for the tang inlay.

My logo was electro-etched on the blade using a sticker with my logo cutout, salty water and a car battery charger.

Thank you!
