With odds perpetually stacked against women, more organizations are cultivating opportunities for women to shift the bud’s narrative. Female executive representation in the cannabis industry is down to 22 percent – lower than 36.8 percent in 2019, according to the MJBizDaily’s Women and Minorities in the Cannabis Industry report. That’s well below the national average for mainstream businesses, which stands at about 30 percent.
