Bangladesh Clashes LIVE: Student Groups Clash in Dhaka Over Alleged Medical Negligence

Clashes broke out in Dhaka's Demra and Jatrabari areas on Monday, after students of various government colleges broke into a fight with the students of Dr Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College (DMRC). The conflict started after allegations of negligence in the treatment by a doctor at Dhaka National Medical College (DNMC), leading to the death of a DMRC student. At least three students of DMRC were killed in the violence, forcing the government to deploy six factions of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in the capital, to control the law and order situation.
