Celestica's 'spark change' sustainability initiative is both a call to action and a challenge for all employees to leverage their expertise to create a more sustainable world and inspire others to do the same. We called our sustainability initiative 'spark change' because we strongly believe that innovative and sustainable solutions begin with an idea.

This video highlights a sustainability success story at Celestica's operation in Toronto, Canada where we manufacture solar panels. The solar panels are shipped to their final destination on heavy wooden pallets. During this process, the pallets become damaged and dirty, and they are typically sent to landfill. The Toronto team came up with an innovative way to divert the pallets from landfill, minimizing the environmental impact of its solar operation.
