The Sunday coming up for our small group, I'll be making prayer cards which are mini polaroid picture frames with pictures of my friends in my church small group. I borrowed this idea from my friend Ansu Badenhorst from Ivytree Studio. I'll cut out the polaroid picture frames, color them, cut the pictures of my friends to size, paste the picture on the frame, write the names on the bottom and create a pretty envelope to keep my pictures in my Bible. When I have my quiet time with God, I can pull the pictures out and pray for my small group.

Praying for people is part of being in community. Praying for each other is part of living life together. Community is also a spiritual discipline - God made us to be in relationship together, as God is a relational. It's not always easy, this relationship thing - it requires a servant's attitude, God's love and the power of His Holy Spirit and prayer. The world should know us by our love for each other.
