GH 179 || When was the first flight started in Nepal? || The First plane landed in Nepal ||

In 1949 Pilot D. P. Majithia a former Wing Commander was the first to fly to Nepal in a four-seater Bonanza plane. A 24-seater Dakota piloted by Air Commander Meher Singh made a perfect landing at an improvised airfield in Kathmandu. This was the second flight of an airplane over the mountainous country of Nepal.
