Lavilin Deodorant Review: Is The 7 Days Staying Power Marketing Claim True?

Welcome to my Lavilin deodorant review video. The key marketing proposition of Lavilin is that it lasts 7 days and you don't have to refresh. Of course, I put this thesis to the test and in this video, I'll be going through the product ingredients, my experience, testing, and much more.

Next up, let's head into the Lavilin deodorant review:

✅ At the end of my natural deodorant review, I concluded that 3 different products were great options, which are: 1) Primal Pit Paste; 2) No Pong Original; 3) Fat & The Moon Cream. It's really hard for me to pick a winner among these products so that's why these products have a shared top-1 spot
✅ During my knockout review phase, I got a comment from a reader that I should have included the Lavilin deodorant as well
✅ I went to the Lavilin website and I ordered two products, the sport and regular mint products
✅ Now, Lavilin claims the deodorant offers 5-7 days odor protection, or, "up to 7 days" - so that's a marketing claim I'm going to put to the test!
✅ The products I tested during the knockout phase lasted 24 hours each, so that's great, but this is a different world. With the other products I could use them for 2 days at the very maximum, perhaps, but at 3 days I'd feel sorry for the people around me
✅ I also don't really see the need for a deodorant, natural or not, to last for up to 7 days, assuming you shower once in a while!
✅ So, let's consider the product details. The Lavilin deodorant is not as natural as the Primal Pit Paste, or other options such as coconut oil, baking soda, and essential oils
✅ The Lavilin has ~20 ingredients or so, and some of them are probably not natural. I can't pronounce the names of some of these ingredients on the label. However, the company claims there's no aluminum in the product, no alcohol, no parabens, etcetera
✅ Also, the company claims you need to read the instruction manual before applying it. Before using the deodorant you need to have washed your armpits, not used another deodorant for 48 hours, and you may need a few more applications for maximal protection. Apparently, you can also use this product during sport of swimming
✅ I will follow instructions exactly as prescribed and put the deodorant on the instructed way for my testing. The product is best applied at night, after showering
✅ It turns out the product was actually developed for the armed forces, so you can be in the field for a long time without developing odor! The Lavilin is even waterproof.
✅ After less than 24 hours, my wife actually commented that I stink of body odor! I typically don't start smelling until after 24 hours, if I'm using natural deodorant. So, according to my wife, the product isn't working, even though I don't notice anything.
✅ I put more of this deodorant on the second night, after showering, and I asked my wife the next day, and she didn't smell anything. But, then, the next day, I started noticing my body odor again, and even though it wasn't really bad, it could be smelled. The next day, I trained, and I smelled myself big time
✅ So, in conclusion, 2-3 days is the maximum I can get out of this product, and even in that period, it starts to become bad, so in reality, it's more like 1 day at the maximum. However, it wasn't as bad as not wearing deodorant at all for 3-4 days.
✅ I will keep using the product, but not as instructed. If I was going away, I might slap heaps on before heading out
✅ Also, I need to take the fact that the body needs to adapt to this deodorant to get the best results, so I'll keep testing. I'll also test the regular deodorant with mint, so not the sport version
