These travel videos/documentaries were filmed on a trip to Australia in January 2020, in the midst of the Australian wildfire crisis and just before the global COVID-19 outbreak. Without realizing it, I had documented the last moments of an era before rapid and irreversible changes took hold in the world. Looking back at this footage, it is incredibly nostalgic, but also eeriely foreign. The style of the videos is somewhat inspired by the works of Werner Herzog.
