If One Of My Lies by Green Day was recorded on dookie

First time editing like this and I accidentally deleted the original drum video so unfortunately its obvious that the video is cropped.


One Of My Lies by Green day is one of my favorite songs off kurplunk. I have recently gotten a marshall DSL100 and for this cover I recorded the left guitar tracks with that, and on the right, I used a marshall orgin 50 head. I believe I also ran these amps fairly clean, (slight tube breakup) and had a MXR Dookie drive pedal getting most of the distortion. With this cover I kind of wanted the guitars to sound like it was on Dookie and i almost titled this "what if One Of My Lies was recorded on Dookie?" but in my opinion my drums sounded a little too big and roomy and modern sounding in comparison to dookie. so I decided not to go with that title. I used the new Drumforge Sam Pura sample pack on the kick and snare and i think that really gave the drums some fat attack and nice decay.
