Shadow Work - The Antidote to Repression - Jungian Psychology - Jung

This video is all about the process of Shadow Work to reintegrate the personal Shadow. The Shadow is the counterpoint to the Ego in the Jungian Psychological model where all repressed traits are stored outside of the light of consciousness.

So, when reintegrating the Shadow through Shadow Work we want to extend our awareness into areas of our awareness that we habitually ignore. In this way, we can solve the problem of repression by making ourselves more whole through acceptance of all of our traits.

Though the theory of the Shadow originates with Carl G. Jung, I share my own perspective on the shadow along with my personal experiences with reintegration and overcoming repression.
