Kayaking the Cuyahoga River through Cuyahoga Valley National Park Part 1

This is part 1 of my July 10th, 2021 paddle on the Cuyahoga River through Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. The video consists of real time segments with sound intersperced with with segments of silent 10X Time Lapse

We put in on Cuyahoga Street in Akron and shuttled vehicles to the end at Boland Road. The river was running high due to recent rain. Early on in this trip, shared with about 11 other kayakers, we saw a river otter. There were many siting of Great Blue Heron as well as 6 Canada Geese. There were lots of rock and gravel bars. We had lunch on one. One of the leaders tipped about 2/3 of the way through the trip. Two other people got wet at the very end. We had to walk a ways to the Towpath Parking to get our vehicles at the end. I was the only person paddling a sea-kayak on this trip. All of the others had shorter boats or whitewater boats.
