Ark: Survival Evolved - Castle Build - Mansion Design, Hatley Castle (Speed Build)

This build is a recreation of Hatley Castle using Castle, Keeps and Forts Remastered Mod with Decor from eco Mods.
Hatley Castle is in Canada, it is used in the X Men movies, DeadPool and the Arrow series, plus a lot more.
The reason the Castle is built on the platform is that I wanted to include the staircases leading up to build.
So I built the basement 4 walls high and that gave us the large open area below for dino storage, industrial forges and production.
The basement could be converted into the X Men base with Tek structures.

I used a lot of the accent and pillar pieces from CKFR to build some depth into the walls and it just makes the build look a lot stronger and supported. The real build has a very similar look where larger cut stones are used to embellish the exterior.
Overall I am happy with how this build turned out, the scale is almost exact and CKFR had all the right pieces.
I did hold back on decorating every room just to keep from killing the fps.
It really is a beautiful structure, looks almost real using Castle, Keeps and Forts Remastered and eco Mods.

The Ark Genesis DLC brings new structures to the game along with a whole host of new dinos.
And now we have a release date :) The 24th of February.

I am going to make some 'Best base location on Genesis' videos as well because my Ragnarok and Valguero videos have done quite well.

In this tutorial, there are a lot of Ark building ideas and building tips that can be used on your base designs.
This Base was built with Castle Keeps and forts Remastered and eco mods so it can be built on unofficial Ark Survival Evolved PC servers and singleplayer.
Ark Survival Evolved has amazing building mechanics, there are endless ways to design and build your base.
