DIY AQUACLEAR 70 CHAETO REFUGIUM REACTOR FOR REEF TANK SALTWATER AQUARIUM

Whats up guys. This is a DIY chaeto reactor/refugium I created for my innovative lagoon 25. The tank is an all in one and all of the chambers in back are occupied. The best way for me to add the reactor/refugium is to use a hang on the back filter. I chose the aquaclear 70 because of the huge opening to work with. I could have DIY something with knitting mesh and the provided media basket but I chose to buy an intank media basket. I picked this media basket because of the three chambers sectioned off and the black acrylic backing. This backing would prevent the light from shining into the tank. The lighting i am using is an LED grow light connected to a smart plug for ease of setting up timing etc. This is a straight forward DIY. My hope is that the chaeto would absorb all the nutrients and starve the algae from growing in the display tank. I will be sure to update you guys on the progress in the next couple of weeks.
