Best Budget USB Mic Test: Maono vs Fifine

A few months ago Maono (yes, I realize I spelled it wrong throughout the entire video) sent me their nice little USB desktop microphone, and I thought it was pretty much unbeatable for the price (and am still using it today).

That video has gotten quite a few views (for me), and the question people always seem to want to know is how does it compare to the Fifine microphone? Enough people asked the question that I decided to go ahead and pick one up to do a comparison.

All audio in the video is untampered with outside of a bit of leveling to keep things fairly consistent.

My take away: they are both good values, but I prefer the sound of the Maono. I do like the package of the Fifine though. If you’re grabbing the Maono, make sure you check the affiliate links below for an appropriate boom arm and adapter to make it all work.
