We are on a semester system so we see each other every day. We are half way into the semester and they know enough Spanish, and are comfortable enough with it, to easily handle past tense.
I introduce it for the first time during P.Q. and I keep using it every day during P.Q time and Movie Talks for about three more weeks, until I go full on past tense with all my TPRS stories.
