HARDWARE: I found through my own experience using a screw thats too short will cause the screw to not grab and not hold your custom side skirt. Too long of a screw could have an issue of possibility bottoming out or spending endless amount of time screwing it in unless you decide want to drill it. That’s your call. I looked for a screw that had enough teeth to grab on and not have to worry about it falling out under vibration or objects that may come in contact with it.
