I WAS TO BE THROWN OFF THE BALCONY - LYDIA GITACHU

The multi-talented actress Lydia Gitachu Nyambura, better known by her stage name Teacher chebby, overcame many challenges to achieve popularity.

The artistic businessman also works as a stage and film director and leads karaoke nights in upscale city bars.

Despite the challenges she faced, Lydia performed quite well in school and went to Komothai Girls High School. She continued her study by registering for an accounting programme at the university's Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA).
Lydia's big break came when she was cast in John Ruganda's set novel "The Burdens." She persevered in the face of financial difficulties and was subsequently cast in the play "Winds of Change"

Audiences watching television were quickly captivated by Lydia's talent and compelling performances. In 2002, Reflections, Tahidi High, Saints, First Grader, Merry Wives of Windsor, Kidnapped, and Kina were among the TV shows she first saw on KBC.
