The Summer of 2019/20 will go down in history as the summer that Australia burnt. Over 24 Million acres burnt, 2000 homes destroyed and over 30 lives lost. With the bushfire season not over yet, these figures are sure to rise. The devastation of these fires are incomprehensible. But through this short film, I hope to give you an insight into the destruction, particularly around the Lake Conjola area which was heavily affected.

As someone who spends as much time in the bush as I do, to watch the country burn like this has been heartbreaking. But the Spirit of the Country is strong and resilient. And as she grows, I will grow with her. 🌱

A big THANK YOU to all the amazing fire and emergency services who have been working tirelessly for months trying to control these mega fires. You are all Heroes!
