This Veterans Day, we’re proud to stand alongside The Headstrong Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing effective mental health treatment to our nation's veterans and service members.

This year, the Chubbies team attended the Headstrong Project’s 2025 NYC Gala, a night of inspiration, impact, and community. The evening raised vital resources to support Headstrong’s life-saving “Triumph Over Trauma” work: providing confidential, barrier-free, and stigma-free mental health care to those who’ve served.

Representing Chubbies were Rainer Castillo (Co-Founder & President), Evan Slaughter (Chubbies influencer and Purple Heart Recipient), and Romeo Brown (Operations Manager and Air Force Veteran), who came together to honor those who have and continue to serve our country. This wasn’t your typical black-tie affair. When the program ended, the party hit the streets of New York and kept the good vibes rolling late into the night.

Through Foundation 43, Chubbies non-profit organization dedicated to mental health and suicide prevention, Chubbies is proud to support organizations like The Headstrong Project.
