Who is eligible for TFWS scheme?
Important Note : To get the benefit of TFW scheme, the candidate has to submit the income certificate issued after 31st March 2010 from either 'Mamlatdar' or 'Taluka development officer' at the time of registration for admission.

What is TFWS scheme?
TFWS stands for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme. It is actually a financial assistance for meritorious students who have scored good marks in entrance examinations and are opting for engineering admissions. Under this scheme, the tuition fee of the aspirant is waived. Rest of the fWhat are the benefits of TFWS?
The Tuition Fee Waiver scheme provides benefits in the form of providing highly subsidized technical education means no tuition fee need to pay except other fees taken by college. Beneficiary students will get free technical education means no tuition required to paees should be payed by the beneficiary.

TFWS new seats introduced stands for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme. TFWS is actually a monitory / financial assistance for meritorious students who have scored good marks in MBA CET entrance examinations and are opting for MBA admissions. Under this scheme, the tuition fee of the aspirant is waived.

How do I apply for TFW?
To get the benefits of TFW Scheme, the candidate has to submit the income certificate issued after 31st March from either 'Mamlatdar' or 'Taluka Development Officer (TDO)' or 'Collector(Jan Seva Kendra)' at the time of application form filling (registration for admission).

Is EWS and TFW same?
If you get an ews or fall under TFW then you are eligible for a counselling under EWS and your college fees will be considered on basis of your TFW certification

Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) Seats:
(I) Scheme
(i) These seats shall be filled in by the Competent Authority.
(ii) The scheme shall be mandatory for all Technical Institutions offering
undergraduate programs that are approved by the All India Council
for Technical Education.
(iii) Seats up to maximum 5 percent of sanctioned intake per course shall
be available. These supernumerary seats shall be available only to
such Course(s) in an Institution, where a minimum of 50% of
“Approved Intake” are filled up in last Academic year.
(iv) The Waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the Fee
Regulation Authority for unaided Institutions and by the Government
for the Government and Government Aided Institutions. All other fees
except tuition fees shall be paid by the beneficiary.
(v) The Candidates admitted under this scheme shall not be allowed to
change Institution/course at any stage under any circumstances.
(vi) These seats shall be available for admission to First Year of
Engineering & Technology and Hotel Management & Catering
Technology courses, Pharmacy and Planning.
(II) Eligibility
(i) Only Maharashtra State Candidature candidates are eligible for
these seats
(ii) Eligible Maharashtra State Candidates having their parent’s annual
income less than Rs. 8 Lakh (Rupees Eight Lakh only) from all


sources shall only be eligible for these seats. The candidate shall
submit Income certificate issued by Appropriate Authority.
